“FILMography”, a relatively new blog/website takes Journalist, Christopher Moloney on a mission to print out still images from a variety of films and compare them to their real-life New York City counterparts. Such films as Home Alone, American Psycho, Midnight Run and Shaft have been used in this imaginative way of capturing photographs. When describing the project with Vanity Fair, Moloney commented, “You can tell just how much filmmakers like Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese and Spike Lee love the city. It’s sometimes hard to believe that those three very different places are all the same city.” For a further look at his work head over to the blog here.
